Merced County Holstein Sale
Held April 26th in conjunction with the State Holstein Show, 42 lots averaged $2014. Topping the sale at $5600 was Lot #1, Dinomi Atwood Renetta-ET, a 3/11 Atwood from Dinomi Offroad Ryley, the EX-91 Grand Champion of the 2010 California State Holstein Show. Her dam is a VG-89 GMD Titanic from the Markwell Bstar Raven (EX-95 GMD) family. Cranehill Genetics purchased this consignment from Dante & Dino Migliazzo. Selling for $4500 was Lazy-A Legend Elegance, a 12/11 Ra-Mar-Land Legend daughter of Lazy-A Blitz Elegance 440. Consigned by Lazy-A Holsteins, this descendant of the Elegance family sold to Brandon Almeida.Merced County Club Show

Merced
County Holstein Club hosted a very successful Holstein Show
on Sunday April 22.
Approximately 40 Holsteins were placed by Judge Joey Airosa,
including the continuing Futurity classes. This year's Futurity
Winner, Den-K Damion Elsie brought her owner Lauren McCullough a
$500 prize. The Merced County Holstein Club would like to thank all
that made the show successful with their time, talent and donations.
A big Thank-You to Joe Pereira and Yosemite Farm Credit for a
great lunch, and we would like to especially thank James and Tara
Davis for chairing the event and making it such a special day for so
many Holstein enthusiasts!
